Drone that struck UK base in Cyprus not fired from Iran, says MoD
The drone that hit the UK's RAF Akrotiri airbase in Cyprus on Sunday night was not launched from Iran, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Defence has said.
However, it added the drone was "Shahed-like", referring to Iran's cheaply produced signature drones, which have been deployed
